We took the shore route. Stopped to stretch and have some lunch but otherwise kept moving.
Passed through Fort Walton beach where Gordon was stationed at Hurlbert Field in the 60's. Completely changed world. Massive development. Santa Rosa Island has changed form a magical natural area to yet another ruined barrier island. The corruptive greed of politicians and land developers is endless. Disgusting!
Arrived in Pensacola in the late afternoon and will spend the night here before continuing west.
