Full on Key West - Tuesday March12th

Decided last night that we'd do a full day in Key West. We did and had a good time doing it.

First breakfast early at the Banana Cafe. Our favorite breakfast stop. Very French the Crepes with salad was a delicious choice.

It's a little over a mile one way from the SE end of town (and island) where we had breakfast to the NW end where the cruise ships dock. During the course of the day we walked this route at least twice on various streets just exploring, shopping and photographing things of interest.

We enjoyed a bit at lunch at Kelley's and then walked for another two hours before
stopping at our fav cigar store to sit in very comfy leather while enjoying a nice Olivia and watching the parade of young ladies on Duval Street.

After these very enjoyable Nicaraguan cigars we walked back to the FJ to relocate it closer (tired if walking) to where we were to have some dinner and possibly hook up with Key West Lou.

Dinner at Braza Luna a Brazilian steak house was amazing. Vertical spit roasters served up some of the best beef, pork, lamb and chicken either of us had ever tasted. And the salad bar was ridiculous in the best way. Ceviche of ever type and platters of the finest dried meats...just incredible. We left full and very satiated.

Finally, now 6:30pm, we went to hopefully meet Lou at the Chart Room, a very small and very local haunt of a very few select locals. He did't show. We'll try again next week.

Drove an hour back to the Big Pine Key house exhausted.
