Have we shared how great it is just to hang out at the house? We spend most of our time on the Ginny Porch. It's mostly shaded. There are NO bugs and the temperature is always perfect.
We're near the end of a dead end canal so boat traffic is slight. We just watch neighbors return daily from local fishing runs.
Our neighbor Paul across the canal is our main contact with the canal community. He's probably 55 and a busy retired fellow. Has two boats one big one smaller. Both are managed by an exotic lift systems that removes the boats from the salt water canal after each use. Very cool. And he's a very nice guy. Update: Paul caught a 38" 30 lb Grouper today. Nice.
We have our deer who are always about looking for affection and forbidden food handouts. It's so unusual to have deer approach you like happy neighborhood dogs.
The street side of the house is often busy with neighbors walking by and sharing greetings as they go. Lots if walkers and gentle bikers here. All flat level ground. No hills anywhere in the Keys.
Second round of golf later. Tiger is moving up the leader board but it looks so far like Rose is holding the lead. Update: Tiger gained nothing! Disappointing.
We're daring Chinese tonight after a nice hand rolled cigar and a cool gin and tonic.
Update: horrible food :-((
Blue Angels fly tomorrow at the local Key West Naval Air Station. Should be fun.
