Puddingwife

Typical morning. Up at 6, breakfast at The Cracked Egg. Normal fare. Charles indulges with eggs Benedict while Gordon had the Cafe Special (sos, fired eggs, bacon and home fries.) Breakfast is G's main meal of the day.

Today we head north to try some new bridges. It's clear Charles will be driven until his first fish is landed.

It wasn't long. Spell broken! Charles lands a "Puddingwife" reef fish. Species and size (grows to 20") however don't matter. Charles caught a fish (6" but it has great potential as he chose to return it to the juvenile hatchery where it was living a happy young fishes life until it chanced on Charles' enticing shrimp and was yanked to a new reality! ).

When we returned to the house we had two Big Pine Key deer waiting for us. This
whole key is an endangered species preserve with 300+ key deer prowling the island. Charles had the unique experience of having one of the deer sniff his finger. The deer are totally unafraid of humans but thought the finger smelled weird.
